Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Wichmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Hamburger Sv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Schauws to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the game, one of Hamburger Sv:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 11th minute, Thorsten Höntsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximilian Decker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Wichmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Hugo Wichmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Werner Kavel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Erik Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Stoetze FC's Erik Hopp got control of the ball when Armin Nolting tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Werner Kavel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armin Nolting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Erik Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stoetze FC's goalkeeper Erik Hopp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Werner Kavel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hopp having to interfere. Erik Hopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Nolting in the 59th minute of play. When Werner Kavel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Hamburger Sv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Werner Kavel couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Richart Gramminger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Milan Schauws got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfried Reincke's late challenge caught a Hamburger Sv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfried Reincke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Wilfried Reincke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armin Nolting kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Stoetze FC's Erik Hopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Kavel in the 85th minute of play. If Milan Schauws had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werner Kavel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Erik Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Milan Schauws managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburger Sv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milan Schauws was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Hamburger Sv's Milan Schauws nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Hopp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Stoetze FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hamburger Sv had controlled the match.
