Arno Gehlen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, TSG Hoffenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Fedor Kuckhoff came free, but Chris Nettig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TSG Hoffenheim's Leon Schütz got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to TSG Hoffenheim getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Leon Schütz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, TSV Moorenweis's Hubert Gaiser got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Lukas Iwanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in TSV Moorenweis's zone, Knut Kühn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gero Rausch came out of the goal and Knut Kühn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gero Rausch came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by TSG Hoffenheim's Leon Schütz. But to his dismay, Leon Schütz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Matthew Della had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chris Nettig. TSG Hoffenheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthew Della was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Hovermann in the 34th minute of play forced TSG Hoffenheim's goalkeeper Chris Nettig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Nettig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Hovermann in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, TSV Moorenweis's Ingo Hovermann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With a little luck, TSG Hoffenheim's Chris Nettig got control of the ball when Jochen Kunter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris Nettig was a little too slow when Matthew Della got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-1. Matthew Della could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Chris Nettig made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Schütz made a kick off. TSG Hoffenheim were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after TSV Moorenweis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Knut Kühn took the corner. Lukas Iwanowski tried in the game's 53rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Gero Rausch. An annoying self made goal, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Hovermann in the 58th minute of play forced TSG Hoffenheim's goalkeeper Chris Nettig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Rechmüller kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Clint Höfer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chris Nettig skillfully saved the ball. Fedor Kuckhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jochen Kunter took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chris Nettig. Chris Nettig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. TSV Moorenweis's Gero Rausch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save TSV Moorenweis from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, TSV Moorenweis's Fedor Kuckhoff got a free kick in the 83rd minute. TSV Moorenweis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
