Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viggo Moll made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Sitterswald booed when Haimendorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walt Kurrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pär Silz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Moll in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Arthur Kathage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Sitterswald's Pär Silz got control of the ball when Reinhold Bartl tried to sneak it across the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Peter Podolka elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game Viggo Moll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sitterswald's Pär Silz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pär Silz made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Reinhold Bartl sent off a good shot on target. Peter Podolka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jamie Frankiewitsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Viggo Moll recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pär Silz. Viggo Moll showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thorbjörn Bidermann hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sitterswald's goalkeeper Pär Silz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sitterswald's Bodo Ranke got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes Haimendorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Thorbjörn Bidermann. 44 minutes into the game, Thorbjörn Bidermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haimendorf FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sitterswald the free kick. When Sitterswald's Peter Podolka in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haimendorf FC's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Podolka made a kick off. In the 54th minute Reinhold Bartl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Silz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinhold Bartl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pär Silz having to make a save. Pär Silz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Moll, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Pär Silz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Moll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 76 minutes, Reinhold Bartl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haimendorf FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinhold Bartl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Peter Podolka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Podolka struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jamie Frankiewitsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sitterswald. Pär Silz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Moll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinhold Bartl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
