Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leif-Eric Dapp kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Peter Podolka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Arthur Kathage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Dötlingen FSV's Egil Zillen got control of the ball when Arthur Kathage tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dötlingen FSV's zone, Arthur Kathage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Zillen came out of the goal and Arthur Kathage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pär Silz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif-Eric Dapp in the 16th minute of play. Max Rühle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pär Silz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Stöhr hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Pär Silz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Rühle in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Podolka in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Zillen saved Dötlingen FSV from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Sitterswald's zone, Max Rühle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Silz came out of the goal and Max Rühle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sitterswald getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ferdinand Lippuner hit a great ball. A collision led to Dötlingen FSV getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leif-Eric Dapp hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Sitterswald got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Stöhr. 39 minutes into the match, Dötlingen FSV's Ludger Körner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Peter Podolka struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Egil Zillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sitterswald. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Podolka to make the kick off. Sitterswald's Pär Silz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif-Eric Dapp in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Peter Podolka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dötlingen FSV's Egil Zillen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dötlingen FSV's David Wager slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pär Silz. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. Dötlingen FSV's Max Rühle got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pär Silz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif-Eric Dapp's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Pär Silz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif-Eric Dapp in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Sitterswald. Horst Ramm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Egil Zillen. 1-1. Max Rühle in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pär Silz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Egil Zillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Podolka in the 96th minute of the match. Max Rühle scored 1-2 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pär Silz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dötlingen FSV played a much better game than Sitterswald and deserved their victory. The Sitterswald players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
