With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pal Kirchberger in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lutz Dückert saved Lüneburger SK from getting behind. When Gianluca Beyer came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lüneburger SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Beyer couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute of the match, Jaro Krebitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fritz Ernst Neubauer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 26 minutes into the game, Jaro Krebitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lüneburger SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamscheid FSV the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Lüneburger SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaro Krebitz to maneuver through the defense. When Oswald Löw came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Lüneburger SK fans jumped to their feet. Fritz Ernst Neubauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswald Löw in the 40th minute. The Lüneburger SK fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Lüneburger SK's Oswald Löw looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fritz Ernst Neubauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Beyer in the 45th minute of the match.

If Gianluca Beyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutger Hennig in the 64th minute of play forced Lamscheid FSV's goalkeeper Fritz Ernst Neubauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lamscheid FSV's Jörg Klaeden in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lüneburger SK reached it. When Oswald Löw came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Lüneburger SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswald Löw couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Lamscheid FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Jaro Krebitz came free, but Fritz Ernst Neubauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oswald Löw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörg Klaeden was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lüneburger SK had played much better football throughout.
