Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ortwin Fricke started the match with the kick off. Tilmann Razavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marc Dohnanyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Hommertgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ebersbacher in the 8th minute of the match. Schötmar's Luis Hommertgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ehrhard Luchtenberg in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Team Name's zone, Claudio Flöge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Dohnanyi came out of the goal and Claudio Flöge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Ortwin Fricke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Hommertgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Team Name's Hartmut Schnittke got a free kick in the 18th minute. Schötmar's Joachim Küpper-Adebisi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herwig Cavic got free with Marc Dohnanyi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Schötmar's Claudio Flöge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marc Dohnanyi. Marc Dohnanyi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Team Name's zone, Herwig Cavic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Dohnanyi came out of the goal and Herwig Cavic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Team Name's Ricardo Lembeck got a free kick in the 30th minute. Joachim Küpper-Adebisi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ortwin Fricke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Luis Hommertgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Ebersbacher scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Hommertgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herwig Cavic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Marc Dohnanyi made a huge save. When Claudio Flöge came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Schötmar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Flöge couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Flöge made a kick off. Marc Dohnanyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herwig Cavic in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Joachim Küpper-Adebisi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Name's Marc Dohnanyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marc Dohnanyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Zedler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Name's goalkeeper Marc Dohnanyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Schötmar got a freekick which was hit by Peter Lohr. In the 70th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Benjamin Ballhaus hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. If Tilmann Razavi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Benny Zedler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herwig Cavic in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Dohnanyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Benny Zedler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Dohnanyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Team Name's Ortwin Fricke got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Küpper-Adebisi in the 86th minute of play forced Team Name's goalkeeper Marc Dohnanyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Claudio Flöge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Name's Marc Dohnanyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Benny Zedler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schötmar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Joachim Küpper-Adebisi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-2 became the score in the 98th minute when Claudio Flöge elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Schötmar had played much better football throughout.
