After some careless play in the DJK Villingen defense, Theodor Thiery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Schwaiger. The DJK Villingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Schwaiger should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Noah Bunje reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fritz Ernst Petig. The goal made the score 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, DJK Villingen's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Thiery came free, but Theo Schwaiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodor Thiery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Neubau FC booed when DJK Villingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Kühnemund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodor Thiery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Theo Schwaiger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Prautzsch hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Fynn Fritze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theo Schwaiger. DJK Villingen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fynn Fritze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 39th minute of the match Connor Jarowoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theo Schwaiger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fritz Ernst Petig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Bartelt in the 40th minute of play. Theodor Thiery took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theo Schwaiger. Theo Schwaiger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fynn Fritze made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of DJK Villingen booed when Neubau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Jarowoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. DJK Villingen's Theo Schwaiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fynn Fritze in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, DJK Villingen's goalkeeper Theo Schwaiger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fynn Fritze. A collision led to Neubau FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hieronymus Schmitt-Illert hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Dolf Bartelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Ernst Petig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neubau FC's Fynn Fritze got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to DJK Villingen getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Matthias Kühnemund hit a great ball. Asbjörn Veit took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Theo Schwaiger. DJK Villingen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, DJK Villingen's Matthias Kühnemund got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in DJK Villingen's zone, Fynn Fritze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Schwaiger came out of the goal and Fynn Fritze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthias Kühnemund kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. DJK Villingen's Theo Schwaiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save DJK Villingen from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, DJK Villingen's goal looked a bit too open when Fynn Fritze came free, but Theo Schwaiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The DJK Villingen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neubau FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
