Karl-Georg Hertz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to TSV Dewangen getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Lothar Degner hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, TSV Dewangen's goal looked a bit too open when Levin Schlegel came free, but Erhard Kaindl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Unterheutau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TSV Dewangen were winning 0-2.

Erhard Kaindl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levin Schlegel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 95th match minute, TSV Dewangen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Hering to maneuver through the defense.
