Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luka Strohmayer started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Gunter Rogowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horst Dreher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siegmund Stumm in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, FC tenstraw's Philipp Hülsmeyer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horst Dreher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Philipp Rathje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautern FC's Horst Dreher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Kerth in the 28th minute of play. Horst Dreher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siegmund Stumm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philipp Rathje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Kang having to interfere. Horst Dreher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Hülsmeyer in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lautern FC's Horst Dreher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Lautern FC from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Gunter Rogowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermann Kerth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horst Dreher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Siegmund Stumm made a precise shot to the right of Horst Dreher. Lautern FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 58th match minute, Lautern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Wanner to maneuver through the defense. Horst Dreher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Hülsmeyer in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Philipp Hülsmeyer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 65th minute Claas Fey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philipp Rathje hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC tenstraw booed when Lautern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunter Rogowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philipp Hülsmeyer struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Horst Dreher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC tenstraw. When Hermann Kerth came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC tenstraw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermann Kerth couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC tenstraw's Ulrik Ripoll got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Claas Fey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lautern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claas Fey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
