But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingmar Nettig couldn't finish the play. GALATASARAY 67's Oswald Austin got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Zufallstreffer getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Davor Burkert hit a great ball. Oswald Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Henrik Franiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY 67's Geert Tippelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Nettig in the 26th minute of play. Ingmar Nettig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Geert Tippelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jürgen Kock's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY 67's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jürgen Kock helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, one of FC Zufallstreffer:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Zufallstreffer. Günther Künast placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ingmar Nettig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert Tippelt having to interfere. Geert Tippelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Woldag in the 43rd minute of the match. Axel Woldag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Geert Tippelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Nettig struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Geert Tippelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zufallstreffer.

Götz Pengel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Franiel having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Oswald Austin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Franiel. FC Zufallstreffer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswald Austin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of FC Zufallstreffer booed when GALATASARAY 67 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. York Anolphi didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Zufallstreffer's Joachim Butzer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Geert Tippelt but with some difficulty. If Axel Woldag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Ingmar Nettig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zufallstreffer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingmar Nettig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Götz Pengel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Woldag received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geert Tippelt came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Woldag slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 79th minute. If Axel Woldag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Nettig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Geert Tippelt made a huge save.
