Gerd Oberleitner kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Tim Wanders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Tim Wanders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Engelbert Schrörs. VS- Schweninngen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Wanders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Detlef Rühlemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Engelbert Schrörs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Engelbert Schrörs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Wanders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ersan Gaßner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Engelbert Schrörs came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ostentrop's Johannes Honold. But to his dismay, Johannes Honold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to VS- Schweninngen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Scott Baffoe hit a great ball. Ersan Gaßner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donatus Volk kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Engelbert Schrörs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Honold in the 45th minute of the match. Engelbert Schrörs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Wanders in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Ostentrop booed when VS- Schweninngen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scott Baffoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donatus Volk's late challenge caught a Ostentrop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donatus Volk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VS- Schweninngen's Donatus Volk got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ostentrop's Tim Wanders got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Rommel charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Rommel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Douglas Rommel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. During the 58th minute of the match Scott Baffoe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Scott Baffoe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to VS- Schweninngen getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Scott Baffoe hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Johannes Honold reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Engelbert Schrörs. The goal made the score 0-3. VS- Schweninngen's Engelbert Schrörs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save VS- Schweninngen from getting a goal against them. Tim Wanders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Engelbert Schrörs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Honold in the 68th minute of play forced VS- Schweninngen's goalkeeper Engelbert Schrörs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Honold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Johannes Honold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engelbert Schrörs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ersan Gaßner kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tim Wanders in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Engelbert Schrörs, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ostentrop's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
