When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Bauer made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Obererlbach FC's Marten Eichelberger made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sascha Gehrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Lutze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Oldenburg having to interfere. A collision led to Obererlbach FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ovid Bethke hit a great ball. Reinhold Eigen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Oldenburg having to make a save. Georg Bauer in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robin Oldenburg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd minute, Burt Rademacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obererlbach FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulf Ducke in the 66th minute. When Reinhold Eigen came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SV Ringelheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinhold Eigen couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Obererlbach FC's zone, Reinhold Eigen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Oldenburg came out of the goal and Reinhold Eigen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Georg Bauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Bauer in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Oldenburg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SV Ringelheim's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
