The supporters of Impekoven booed when Tomsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfried Jochimsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tomsi's zone, Gideon Marchl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volker Räder came out of the goal and Gideon Marchl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tomsi's Rupert Nimako in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arend Jaura was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Impekoven through an amazing save. Tomsi's Viktor Beimler got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomsi's Volker Räder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gideon Marchl in the 28th minute of play. Frederik van Essen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Faruk Matthes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rupert Nimako fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arend Jaura having to interfere. Rupert Nimako sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gideon Marchl might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volker Räder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gideon Marchl ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Gideon Marchl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Räder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rupert Nimako sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arend Jaura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Beimler, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Tomsi got a freekick which was hit by Frederik van Essen. Frank Schnoor missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 59 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Volker Räder right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Beimler in the 62nd minute of play forced Impekoven's goalkeeper Arend Jaura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arend Jaura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Beimler, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Jari Egerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Höfner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Nimako in the 76th minute of play forced Impekoven's goalkeeper Arend Jaura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Viktor Beimler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Beimler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tomsi were victorious despite being under pressure from Impekoven for much of the match.
