Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ersan Gaßner made the kick off and thus started the match. Engelbert Schrörs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Klingemann in the 5th minute of the match. Marten Eichelberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ovid Bethke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obererlbach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovid Bethke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Engelbert Schrörs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Philip Ehmke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Oldenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersan Gaßner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Obererlbach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinz Meiswinkel to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Bernd Paepke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VS- Schweninngen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obererlbach FC the free kick. A collision led to VS- Schweninngen getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernd Paepke hit a great ball. If Marten Eichelberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Dariusz Klingemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engelbert Schrörs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obererlbach FC's Robin Oldenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Gaßner in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Donatus Volk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Ulf Ducke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Engelbert Schrörs skillfully saved the ball. Robin Oldenburg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ersan Gaßner sent off a good shot on target. Ersan Gaßner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Oldenburg having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dariusz Klingemann to make the kick off. Dariusz Klingemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Obererlbach FC's Claes Yentür got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ersan Gaßner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Robin Oldenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ersan Gaßner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Ersan Gaßner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VS- Schweninngen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ersan Gaßner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Oldenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Baffoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Obererlbach FC's zone, Ersan Gaßner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Oldenburg came out of the goal and Ersan Gaßner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Engelbert Schrörs was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Dariusz Klingemann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dariusz Klingemann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 79th match minute, VS- Schweninngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Baffoe to maneuver through the defense. Thorsten Grath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Robin Oldenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
