Ansgar Mentrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Schied having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Tus Untereschbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Kraus to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ansgar Mentrup got free with Ferit Schied in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Tus Untereschbach getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luis Kraus hit a great ball. When Luis Kraus fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tus Untereschbach's protests and gave Luis Kraus a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Kraus kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marc Ballwanz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Claes Biege got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claes Biege sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ansgar Mentrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Schied having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, FC POWER's Marc Ballwanz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferit Schied was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Radermacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brandon Andresen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Radermacher in the 81st minute of play forced FC POWER's goalkeeper Brandon Andresen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Ballwanz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ferit Schied tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Daniel Heintz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tus Untereschbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Heintz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claes Biege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tus Untereschbach booed when FC POWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Verheyen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC POWER had won after a very even match.
