Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blue Lions FC's Sonny Dahms started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Safet Schramm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Radermacher in the 6th minute of the match. Roberto Wilhelm hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ferit Schied made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Raoul Häusle sent off a good shot on target. Sonny Dahms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Daniel Heintz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Safet Schramm was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Simon Radermacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Radermacher was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tus Untereschbach's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Dahms came free, but Ferit Schied reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Biege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Safet Schramm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tus Untereschbach's Simon Radermacher got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claes Biege recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sonny Dahms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Biege got free with Safet Schramm in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Sonny Dahms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Schied saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Kraus charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Kraus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Luis Kraus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Tus Untereschbach's goal looked a bit too open when Raoul Häusle came free, but Ferit Schied reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blue Lions FC's Sonny Dahms managed to work through Tus Untereschbach's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sonny Dahms dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Daniel Heintz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Heintz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Tus Untereschbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Heintz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Dahms in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferit Schied saved Tus Untereschbach from getting behind. The Tus Untereschbach players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
