Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bartholomäus Frank took the kick off in the first half of the match. David Seelig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartholomäus Frank in the 4th minute of the match. David Seelig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hinnerk Sager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartholomäus Frank in the 12th minute of play forced 1.FC Fulda's goalkeeper David Seelig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Berssenbrügge struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hermann Julius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Fulda. 15 minutes into the match, 1.FC Fulda's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Fiolka came free, but David Seelig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Harry Berssenbrügge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Julius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartholomäus Frank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Hugh Weinmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Künzer to maneuver through the defense. Hugh Weinmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Trutz Poreski. Hugh Weinmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvatore Marx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Julius having to interfere. Bartholomäus Frank struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. David Seelig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berlin. 45 minutes into the match, Hinnerk Sager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Seelig. 1.FC Fulda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hinnerk Sager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Harry Berssenbrügge made the kick off in the second half. Justin Fiolka's late challenge caught a 1.FC Fulda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Fiolka helped the player get up and apologised. Justin Fiolka kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Berlin's Justin Fiolka got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hinnerk Sager got free with David Seelig in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugh Weinmann hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, 1.FC Fulda's David Seelig got control of the ball when Hinnerk Sager tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Harry Berssenbrügge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Seelig was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Trutz Poreski. David Seelig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartholomäus Frank in the 81st minute of the match. If Hugh Weinmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1.FC Fulda's Hugh Weinmann suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Justin Fiolka was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 88th match minute, Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Fiolka to maneuver through the defense. Salvatore Marx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Julius having to interfere. The supporters of Berlin booed when 1.FC Fulda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Marx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hinnerk Sager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but David Seelig made a huge save. The 1.FC Fulda manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Berlin to win.
