The wind increased when Harry Berssenbrügge made the kick off in the second half. Justin Fiolka's late challenge caught a 1.FC Fulda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. David Seelig was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Trutz Poreski. The 1.FC Fulda manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Berlin to win.
