If Henning Ritzmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kord Gehrcke in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans Seel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hans Seel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Venekamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandor Schöpper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Kahn in the 21st minute of the match. Hans Seel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Venekamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Colonia Agrippina's Hans Seel got control of the ball when Ronald Stammler tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Colonia Agrippina getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rudi Weiner hit a great ball. Hans Seel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kord Gehrcke in the 30th minute. Hans Seel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Venekamp in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Kord Gehrcke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 51 minutes of play, Colonia Agrippina's Jan Kahn made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandor Schöpper was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Altonaer Löwen getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ronald Stammler hit a great ball. Henning Ritzmann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Sandor Schöpper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Colonia Agrippina booed when Altonaer Löwen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Stammler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Friedrich Schwartz, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th of the match, Jan Kahn tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Sandor Schöpper got in the way and made a wonderful save. Kord Gehrcke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Kahn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colonia Agrippina's Hans Seel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Venekamp in the 87th minute of play. Altonaer Löwen's Kord Gehrcke got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Seel came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Altonaer Löwen's Ronald Stammler. But to his dismay, Ronald Stammler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 97 minutes of play, Colonia Agrippina's Rudi Weiner made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandor Schöpper was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
