After 7 minutes, Niko Hahn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trojaner and the Köchingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Trojaner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niko Hahn to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Trojaner getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jan Schuster hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Trojaner's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Kalvelage came free, but Luc Stark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Grüner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luc Stark. Trojaner's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luc Stark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Kalvelage in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Kurt Reim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köchingen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Christof Tabillion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Amelung was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 26 minutes into the game, Christof Tabillion recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paul Amelung. Christof Tabillion showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 34th minute Kurt Reim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc Stark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Kalvelage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Luc Stark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Kurt Reim put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luc Stark. Richard Kalvelage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luc Stark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Kalvelage in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Trojaner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niko Hahn to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Fritz Burkart sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Trojaner's Luc Stark didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Kalvelage to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurt Reim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Luc Stark skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 60 minutes into the match, Trojaner's goalkeeper Luc Stark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Reim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Kalvelage in the 66th minute of play forced Trojaner's goalkeeper Luc Stark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Schuster hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Trojaner's Luc Stark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Kalvelage in the 75th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Köchingen's Luc Stark threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Richard Kalvelage, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kurt Reims short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Luc Stark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Trojaner's Luc Stark got control of the ball when Kurt Reim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard Kalvelage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luc Stark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Kalvelage, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The supporters of Köchingen booed when Trojaner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Schuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Köchingen's Fritz Burkart tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match was over Köchingen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trojaner throughout the match.
