Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Terry Meininger started the match with the kick off. Mark Szesni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Frick having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Zebrowski in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Frick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Klaas Göppel came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Arnsberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaas Göppel couldn't finish the play. Olaf Zebrowski struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jacob Frick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arnsberg. Toralf Herzke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Arnsberg's Toralf Herzke made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Frick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrike Grabowski kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Toralf Herzke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arnsberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Toralf Herzke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacob Frick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toralf Herzke took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Frick. Jacob Frick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Olaf Zebrowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Frick having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Zebrowski in the 43rd minute of play forced Müggendorf's goalkeeper Jacob Frick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Zebrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jacob Frick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olaf Zebrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olaf Zebrowski was the one to do the kick off. Olaf Zebrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toralf Herzke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacob Frick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Zebrowski in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Müggendorf booed when Arnsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Göppel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arnsberg's Ralph Diesterhöft got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jacob Frick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Zebrowski in the 74th minute of the match. Jacob Frick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toralf Herzke in the 75th minute. Berno Jetzek hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Arnsberg got a freekick which was hit by Henrike Grabowski. Olaf Zebrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Frick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Zebrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Olaf Zebrowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacob Frick was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Toralf Herzke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Frick having to interfere. Müggendorf's Jacob Frick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Müggendorf from getting a goal against them. If Toralf Herzke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Arnsberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Müggendorf throughout the match.
