But to his dismay, Gabriel Wilke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to RB LEIPZIG FELIX ALF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ezzo Ankleider hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Janosch Appelt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Dettke skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Wilke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Richard Dettke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Wilke in the 27th minute of play forced RB LEIPZIG FELIX ALF's goalkeeper Richard Dettke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Dettke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Wilke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pius Seib came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FSV Thale 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pius Seib couldn't finish the play. Richard Dettke came out of the goal and Gabriel Wilke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pius Seib took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Dettke. Richard Dettke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Hellmuth Mätz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Dettke having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Pius Seib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Dettke having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Hellmuth Mätz put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Richard Dettke. Ezzo Ankleider hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Pius Seib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pius Seib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FSV Thale 22 had played much better football throughout.
