Pius Seib blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hendrik Borkowski having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, FC Weser Bremen's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Wilke came free, but Hendrik Borkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Wilke to make the kick off.
