Wiggo Hasselfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christen Hatschek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Mackensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Raufuss in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Boes got free with Wiggo Hasselfeldt in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Christen Hatschek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filzbuch's supporters rose to their feet, but Christen Hatschek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiggo Hasselfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Achaz Feldmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Mackensen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achaz Feldmann to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Oberwarnsbach FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerold Sorge to maneuver through the defense. Wiggo Hasselfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christen Hatschek in the 58th minute of play. Torsten Mackensen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achaz Feldmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Roland Fürderer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Achaz Feldmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Christen Hatschek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filzbuch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christen Hatschek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oberwarnsbach FSV's Wiggo Hasselfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Boes in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Oberwarnsbach FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Raufuss to maneuver through the defense. Sven Boes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiggo Hasselfeldt having to interfere. Detlef Duelli's late challenge caught a Filzbuch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Detlef Duelli helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Filzbuch booed when Oberwarnsbach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Detlef Duelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Boes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Raufuss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Torsten Mackensen made a huge save. Roland Fürderer might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Mackensen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Fürderer ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the game, Trent Bogs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filzbuch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oberwarnsbach FSV the free kick. Oberwarnsbach FSV's Guido Notz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Filzbuch. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oberwarnsbach FSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
