The audience was convinced that Christian Sass's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rouven Hemmerlein was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Nico Stieglitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Sass took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rouven Hemmerlein. Rouven Hemmerlein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Stallau's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Reinbold came free, but Holger Grohganz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Hieronymus Labigne made a precise shot to the right of Holger Grohganz. Stallau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 35 minutes of play, Orsfeld's Hieronymus Labigne made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Grohganz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rouven Hemmerlein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Sass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Stallau's Hennes Ohmer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rouven Hemmerlein. That made the score 3-2 after 40 minutes of play. If Christian Sass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rouven Hemmerlein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Sass, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Apollo Jacobs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Grohganz was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
The wind increased when Apollo Jacobs made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Nico Stieglitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rouven Hemmerlein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Hennes Ohmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Hennes Ohmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nico Stieglitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rouven Hemmerlein having to interfere. Holger Grohganz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apollo Jacobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Stallau's Holger Grohganz got control of the ball when Hernan Reinbold tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Stallau's Christian Sass in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orsfeld's goalie prevented a goal. Rouven Hemmerlein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Stallau were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
