When Apollo Jacobs came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Orsfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apollo Jacobs couldn't finish the play. Toni Herrmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rouven Hemmerlein having to interfere. Dennis Töpfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tord Hüssler made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hernan Reinbold sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes, Orsfeld's Fritz Spincke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tord Hüssler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orsfeld reached it. Tord Hüssler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apollo Jacobs in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Toni Herrmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oberndorf City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orsfeld the free kick. 31 minutes into the match, Oberndorf City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apollo Jacobs came free, but Tord Hüssler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Oberndorf City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Herrmann to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Reinbold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apollo Jacobs to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Oberndorf City FC defense, Hernan Reinbold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tord Hüssler. The Oberndorf City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tord Hüssler should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, Hieronymus Labigne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Reinbold in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Hüssler saved Oberndorf City FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Orsfeld's Konrad Humme got a free kick in the 74th minute. With his leg Rouven Hemmerlein managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Oberndorf City FC's Dennis Töpfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute Hernan Reinbold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Hüssler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Oberndorf City FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefano Nikolai. In the 86th minute, Apollo Jacobs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorck Schaede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Reinbold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Hüssler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apollo Jacobs in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Hüssler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orsfeld had won after a very even match.
