After a defensive mix-up in VFC Leipzig's zone, Delron Mackscheidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximilian Englmaier came out of the goal and Delron Mackscheidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A very good chance. Benedetto Rammes's late challenge caught a VFC Leipzig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 90th of the match, Delron Mackscheidt tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Maximilian Englmaier got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ernst Feuereisen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Maximilian Englmaier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delron Mackscheidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Englmaier having to interfere. Maximilian Englmaier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Feuereisen in the 95th minute.
