Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bobby Enderle made the kick off and thus started the match. Gil Plum took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erwin Plehn. Erwin Plehn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aage Boller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Thomas Schirmer made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Gersheim's goalkeeper Thomas Schirmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdl Riemer. In the 17th minute, Feldkante's Ferdl Riemer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Emanuel Wissing's late challenge caught a Feldkante's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Wissing helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gersheim! Thomas Schirmer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benni Burka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 30 minute of play. Klaus Ruge hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Benni Burka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Gersheim got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Ruge. In the 43rd minute Bobby Enderle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Plehn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Kilian Bechthold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aage Boller was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gersheim's Klaus Ruge got a free kick in the 56th minute. Benni Burka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Schirmer having to make a save. After 69 minutes, Paulo Erfurt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gersheim and the Feldkante players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Gersheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Erfurt to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gersheim getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Almut Hambückers hit a great ball. If Benni Burka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aage Boller came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Feldkante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aage Boller couldn't finish the play. Erwin Plehn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Wissing. In the 93rd minute, Gil Plum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Kilian Bechthold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feldkante fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
