Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aage Boller kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Aalen IF booed when Feldkante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuran Däublin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Feldkante's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Bande came free, but Erwin Plehn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aalen IF's zone, Rigobert Heineke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jann Bosch came out of the goal and Rigobert Heineke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joachim Schulcz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erwin Plehn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benni Burka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Aalen IF's Sebastian Bande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erwin Plehn. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. In the 21st minute, Feldkante's Iker Helpenstein seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iker Helpenstein the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Feldkante protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iker Helpenstein had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Erwin Plehn went to the wrong direction when Holger Harms was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 25 minutes, Felix Kiefer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aalen IF and the Feldkante players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Kiefer kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aage Boller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jann Bosch was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Jann Bosch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aage Boller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Ferdl Riemer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feldkante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdl Riemer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Feldkante getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ferdl Riemer hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Sebastian Bande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Plehn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Plehn made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Joachim Schulcz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bande in the 41st minute of play forced Feldkante's goalkeeper Erwin Plehn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aage Boller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aalen IF's Jann Bosch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erwin Plehn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Kastener in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, Aage Boller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aalen IF's goalkeeper Jann Bosch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Bande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Erwin Plehn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Sebastian Bande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Plehn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Feldkante's Aage Boller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jann Bosch. That made the score 1-2 after 65 minutes of play. In the 68th minute, Sebastian Bande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Kilian Bechthold notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Aalen IF's Jann Bosch. Jann Bosch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amir Kastener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Feldkante's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Bande came free, but Erwin Plehn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feldkante's Erwin Plehn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Hoppenstedt in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Kilian Bechthold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feldkante's Erwin Plehn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bande in the 88th minute of play. When Kilian Bechthold came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Feldkante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kilian Bechthold couldn't finish the play. Kilian Bechthold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jann Bosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
