Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bobby Enderle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gil Plum struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Sven Vielmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gersheim. Jannick Strack's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Schirmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes in the game, Bobby Enderle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sven Vielmann having to interfere. Gil Plum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sven Vielmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Vielmann was a little too slow when Bobby Enderle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 28th minute, Willi Burke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gersheim getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Klaus Ruge hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Gersheim got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Hupach. In the 46th play minute Gil Plum came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sven Vielmann. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jannick Strack made a kick off. A collision led to Gersheim getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Almut Hambückers hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Klaus Ruge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th match minute, Gersheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Erfurt to maneuver through the defense. Gil Plum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Gersheim got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Hupach. When Abdel Johannsen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MÜNCHEN LIONS's protests and gave Abdel Johannsen a yellow card for diving instead. 67 minutes into the game, Paul Suhrke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gersheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MÜNCHEN LIONS the free kick. After 68 played minutes Gersheim got a freekick which was hit by Paul Suhrke. In the 76thth minute of the game Gil Plum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Plum in the 79th minute of play. Thomas Schirmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannick Strack, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Bobby Enderle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Vielmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gil Plum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Vielmann was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. A collision led to MÜNCHEN LIONS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ernst Sauer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Enderle in the 92nd minute of play forced MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidelio Pehr hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Enderle in the 95th minute of play.
