The audience was convinced that Herbie Klause's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Schirmer was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Gersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Herbie Klause came free, but Thomas Schirmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gersheim's Thomas Schirmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbie Klause in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Enderle in the 19th minute of play forced Berkersheim FC's goalkeeper Nico Biermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Berkersheim FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rafael Dinar hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Gersheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Wissing to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Graham Dambietz in the 23rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Thomas Schirmer's left hand side. Philipp Wolfsbach came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thomas Schirmer could save by the left post. Bobby Enderle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philipp Wolfsbach struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Thomas Schirmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berkersheim FC. 36 minutes into the match, Berkersheim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Enderle came free, but Nico Biermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Schirmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbie Klause, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gil Plum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nico Biermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Gersheim's Gil Plum got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thomas Schirmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbie Klause in the 57th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Nico Biermann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Berkersheim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Plum came free, but Nico Biermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Schirmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Wolfsbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gersheim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Graham Dambietz was slow to take the kick. During this time Berkersheim FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Graham Dambietz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gersheim's Thomas Schirmer did a great save. In the 81st minute Herbie Klause shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Philipp Wolfsbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Schirmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Philipp Wolfsbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Berkersheim FC had won after a very even match.
