The audience was convinced that Herbie Klause's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Eberhard was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The referee showed Erik Kornmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Folke Eberhard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Wolfsbach in the 33rd minute of the match. If Philipp Wolfsbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Eberhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbie Klause, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rafael Dinar might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Eberhard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Dinar ran back to his position shaking his head. Herbie Klause struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Folke Eberhard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berkersheim FC. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbie Klause to make the kick off. Herbie Klause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Eberhard having to interfere. Philipp Wolfsbach took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Eberhard. Folke Eberhard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Jörg Felden fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored akdagspor's protests and gave Jörg Felden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Berkersheim FC got a penalty, and Graham Dambietz placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Philipp Wolfsbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Folke Eberhard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelis Koslowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Marcus Terstappen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berkersheim FC's Nico Biermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Rafael Dinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Cornelis Koslowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Biermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kai-Uwe Andreowsky fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berkersheim FC's protests and gave Kai-Uwe Andreowsky a yellow card for diving instead.
