Norman Könning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlheinz Gengelbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Norman Könning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Freemann in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, ERZURUMSPOR's Rolf Freemann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norman Könning narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
