The supporters of FSV Thale 23 booed when Gossa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Glaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascal Töpfer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lutz Eisold. Lucio Mikulasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Angelo Meist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Felix Brandl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 29 minutes, Ahmed Kaltz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Thale 23 and the Gossa SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Neumann kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Leonid Rocks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gossa SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonid Rocks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Brandl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pascal Töpfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
