Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ray Gerdung made the kick off and thus started the match. With his leg Berthold Woitzik managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Grünschwaige's Lennard Hutmacher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th minute, Phil Schwendler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grundner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Dominik Fuchs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grundner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Fuchs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Rurik Vogeler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berthold Woitzik. Grundner's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rurik Vogeler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ray Gerdung in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berthold Woitzik saved Grundner from getting behind. Andreas Kappestein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Fuchs went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Dominik Fuchs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Kappestein having to make a save. Grundner's Berthold Woitzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Gerdung in the 29th minute of play. Cecil Gebhard charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecil Gebhard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grundner's Berthold Woitzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meral Brinkmann in the 35th minute of play. Berthold Woitzik made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lennard Hutmacher sent off a good shot on target. In the 38thth minute of the game Dominik Fuchs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grünschwaige's Andreas Kappestein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Elmo Juratovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kappestein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Grünschwaige players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grundner were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elmo Juratovic to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Grünschwaige's Lennard Hutmacher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berthold Woitzik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 55th minute Lennard Hutmacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berthold Woitzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grünschwaige's zone, Dominik Fuchs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Kappestein came out of the goal and Dominik Fuchs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Fuchs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Andreas Kappestein skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Dominik Fuchs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 72 minutes into the match, Grundner's goal looked a bit too open when Lennard Hutmacher came free, but Berthold Woitzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grundner's Berthold Woitzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Hofacker in the 78th minute of play. Dominik Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phil Schwendler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Andreas Kappestein when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennard Hutmacher in the 84th minute of play forced Grundner's goalkeeper Berthold Woitzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grundner's Lothar Goiny got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ray Gerdung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berthold Woitzik having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Lennard Hutmacher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berthold Woitzik.
