Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brunnadern FC's Vito Wisgalla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute of the match, Kai Grunert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikolaos Philipp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Reimo Boehme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anton Heidsiek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Ole Nergert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Heidsiek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Wisgalla in the 26th minute of play forced FC Hofmühle's goalkeeper Nikolaos Philipp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Brunnadern FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Brunnadern FC's Vito Wisgalla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, FC Hofmühle's Sergio Kirchner got a free kick in the 34th minute. Vito Wisgalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nikolaos Philipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes FC Hofmühle got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Kirchner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reimo Boehme to make the kick off. If Vito Wisgalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Kai Grunert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikolaos Philipp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Wisgalla in the 63rd minute of the match. Juliane Quack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nikolaos Philipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hofmühle's zone, Vito Wisgalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolaos Philipp came out of the goal and Vito Wisgalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ole Nergert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Anton Heidsiek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juliane Quack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolaos Philipp having to interfere. Vito Wisgalla took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolaos Philipp. Nikolaos Philipp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Vito Wisgalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolaos Philipp having to interfere. Juliane Quack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolaos Philipp having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Wisgalla in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolaos Philipp saved FC Hofmühle from getting behind. FC Hofmühle's Nikolaos Philipp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliane Quack in the 88th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Russok during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Hofmühle's Ernst Russok got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Vito Wisgalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolaos Philipp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Hofmühle getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Sergio Kirchner hit a great ball. Brunnadern FC's Juliane Quack got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
