Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Wacker Gotha's Antonio Schurr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Wacker Gotha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Kolja Jähnigen scored to the left of an out of position Niko Brömme, making the score, 1-0. Antonio Schurr struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Immanuel Rüeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wacker Gotha. In the 10th minute Jakov Hänsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Brömme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Antonio Schurr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Olaf Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Immanuel Rüeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Immanuel Rüeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Bode in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jakov Hänsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakov Hänsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niko Brömme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ole Matt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Wacker Gotha's Antonio Schurr in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galatasaray's goalie prevented a goal. Antonio Schurr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Immanuel Rüeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolf Bode's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, FC Wacker Gotha's goal looked a bit too open when Jakov Hänsch came free, but Niko Brömme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rato Boie hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Olaf Hammer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Immanuel Rüeck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ibrahim Hofmann hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Galatasaray's Gunther Lachmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Wacker Gotha. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakov Hänsch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Schurr in the 52nd minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Immanuel Rüeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Bode's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Immanuel Rüeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Johannes Krahnen hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Johannes Krahnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willi Bollerey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Brömme having to interfere. When Olaf Hammer came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Wacker Gotha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Hammer couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Galatasaray's Immanuel Rüeck got control of the ball when Ibrahim Hofmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Schurr in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Immanuel Rüeck saved Galatasaray from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Dietbald Voise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niko Brömme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kolja Jähnigen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Johannes Krahnen got a free kick in the 81st minute. Fatih Ustorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Immanuel Rüeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dietbald Voise kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Antonio Schurr fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
