Eintracht Emden Aren
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Merten Boxberger made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute Noel Bodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Stübner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Akira Gänßle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Degdau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the Eintracht Emden defense, Raphael Türkmen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Degdau. The Eintracht Emden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Degdau should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Raphael Türkmen put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dan Degdau. Dan Degdau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pat Indenklef, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Eintracht Emden's Dan Degdau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Türkmen in the 21st minute of play. Eintracht Emden's Sebastian Lausen got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens Stübner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merten Boxberger in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Akira Gänßle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Degdau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Degdau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Türkmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Christof Engelmann sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eintracht Emden's Dan Degdau didn't even have to move. Dan Degdau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Türkmen in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Emden's Noel Bodin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sebastian Lausen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dan Degdau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dieter Sudhoff went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jens Stübner came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Emden's Noel Bodin. But to his dismay, Noel Bodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Dan Degdau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akira Gänßle in the 53rd minute of play. Eintracht Emden's Dan Degdau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Emden from getting a goal against them. Eintracht Emden's Denny Dominicus got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match, Raphael Türkmen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dan Degdau was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Merten Boxberger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Stübner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Dieter Sudhoff took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Degdau. Dan Degdau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Dan Degdau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 70 minutes into the game, Tytus's Dieter Sudhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Degdau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 75 played minutes Tytus got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Ohrem. 79 minutes into the game, Eintracht Emden's Sebastian Lausen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Stübner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Eintracht Emden's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Akira Gänßle 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-7. After 87 minutes, Hernan Ohrem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tytus and the Eintracht Emden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Hernan Ohrem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Denny Dominicus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eintracht Emden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tytus the free kick. After 89 played minutes Eintracht Emden got a freekick which was hit by Denny Dominicus. The Eintracht Emden fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tytus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
