An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignaz Zabe in the 13th minute of play forced FC Yürrübe's goalkeeper Utz Berntsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC Yürrübe's goal looked a bit too open when Volker Koziolek came free, but Utz Berntsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes FC Yürrübe got a freekick which was hit by Claudius Fromme. In the 17th minute, Volker Koziolek made a precise shot to the right of Utz Berntsen. Ignaz Zabe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Utz Berntsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Wesley Bodden hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Ignaz Zabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volker Koziolek scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Utz Berntsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volker Koziolek was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC Yürrübe's Utz Berntsen got control of the ball when Ignaz Zabe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wallbach's Ignaz Zabe got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Dolf Stober hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volker Koziolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utz Berntsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignaz Zabe went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Yürrübe's goalkeeper Utz Berntsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Yürrübe's Utz Berntsen got control of the ball when Ignaz Zabe tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volker Koziolek in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Utz Berntsen saved FC Yürrübe from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Wallbach's Volker Koziolek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Utz Berntsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th play minute Ignaz Zabe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Utz Berntsen. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Wallbach's Philipp Reents got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th match minute, FC Yürrübe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudius Fromme to maneuver through the defense. Volker Koziolek got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Utz Berntsen handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Utz Berntsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volker Koziolek in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Wallbach's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Jeschke came free, but Dieter Benedix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wallbach eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
