In the 11th minute Akira Gänßle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieu Ansieg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akira Gänßle in the 13th minute of play forced Nankatsu's goalkeeper Mathieu Ansieg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Nankatsu got a freekick which was hit by Friedrich Schreier. Mathieu Ansieg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Türkmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christof Engelmann charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christof Engelmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Tytus got a freekick which was hit by Christof Engelmann. After 18 played minutes, Nankatsu's Kai Michalowicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Stübner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nankatsu reached it. With his leg Jens Stübner managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Nankatsu's Joshua Boden fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Akira Gänßle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathieu Ansieg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Mathieu Ansieg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akira Gänßle in the 24th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Raphael Türkmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu Ansieg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akira Gänßle in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Nankatsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Stark to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Benni Praßke hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Nankatsu's Luis Erdmann got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Raphael Türkmen came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tytus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Türkmen couldn't finish the play. Nankatsu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Akira Gänßle scored to the left of an out of position Mathieu Ansieg, making the score, 0-1.
