Lester Freeh was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Husen-Kurl's Christoph Bauer got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Christof Engelmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lester Freeh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Husen-Kurl defense, Akira Gänßle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lester Freeh. The Husen-Kurl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lester Freeh should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Husen-Kurl fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! 22 minutes into the game, Hernan Ohrem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tytus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husen-Kurl the free kick. The supporters of Husen-Kurl booed when Tytus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Ohrem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolai Fritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Husen-Kurl getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Christoph Bauer hit a great ball. Akira Gänßle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lester Freeh having to interfere. Lester Freeh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akira Gänßle, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 45 minutes of play, Tytus's Akira Gänßle made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lester Freeh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nicolai Fritz made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jeremy Scheer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akira Gänßle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lester Freeh having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akira Gänßle in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lester Freeh saved Husen-Kurl from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Tytus's zone, Willibald Bannert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Stübner came out of the goal and Willibald Bannert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raphael Türkmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lester Freeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Husen-Kurl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Bauer to maneuver through the defense. Lester Freeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akira Gänßle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Türkmen struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lester Freeh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tytus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akira Gänßle in the 91st minute of play forced Husen-Kurl's goalkeeper Lester Freeh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lester Freeh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akira Gänßle, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Dieter Sudhoff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the final whistle sounded Tytus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Husen-Kurl.
