Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Akira Gänßle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tommaso Hörnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Türkmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Akira Gänßle succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Tommaso Hörnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Scheer in the 20th minute of play. Jens Stübner was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Helmut Schindler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Helmut Schindler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Helmut Schindler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jens Stübner. Helmut Schindler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Akira Gänßle scored 2-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommaso Hörnes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute of the match Hernando Raich sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommaso Hörnes skillfully saved the ball. Anno Kaminski charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anno Kaminski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Anno Kaminski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christof Engelmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Björn Riester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremy Scheer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in 1.SSV Heimelf's zone, Dieter Sudhoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommaso Hörnes came out of the goal and Dieter Sudhoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Akira Gänßle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helmut Schindler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, 1.SSV Heimelf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias W Rauche to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Türkmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Engelbert Beckmeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Stübner having to interfere. Helmut Schindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jens Stübner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Tytus's Raphael Türkmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommaso Hörnes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. 68 minutes into the match, 1.SSV Heimelf's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Scheer came free, but Tommaso Hörnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tytus's Jeremy Scheer got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st play minute Raphael Türkmen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommaso Hörnes. 3-4. Dieter Sudhoff kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Helmut Schindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jens Stübner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Helmut Schindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Anno Kaminski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens Stübner skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute Helmut Schindler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Stübner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens Stübner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmut Schindler in the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Akira Gänßle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommaso Hörnes. That made the score 3-5 in the 97 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tytus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
