The audience was convinced that Dominik Clemens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Paepke was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The wind increased when Bobby Bachmann made the kick off in the second half. Torsten Paepke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Clemens in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Dominik Clemens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Groucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Clemens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Paepke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bobby Bachmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Borgwardt having to interfere. Torsten Paepke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Unsöld in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Endrik Unsöld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Groucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Endrik Unsöld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Endrik Unsöld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Torsten Paepke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Groucho had won after a very even match.
