Edmund Kugler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Leopold Rau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopold Rau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Edmund Kugler made a huge save. Leopold Rau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edmund Kugler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopold Rau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Kugler having to interfere. Edmund Kugler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Scheike in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Brandt in the 42nd minute of play forced Wendeburg FSV's goalkeeper Timur Ariesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
