Leandros Beckhaus struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Torsten Paepke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kickers Armsen. Severin Prengel charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severin Prengel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severin Prengel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Stephan Kruppke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Erdal Wilhelmi made a huge save. During the 26th minute of the match Severin Prengel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Severin Prengel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Drehenthalerhof getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Severin Prengel hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Mark Grüner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Paepke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leandros Beckhaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Grüner took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Paepke. Torsten Paepke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Stephan Kruppke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Erdal Wilhelmi made a huge save. Mark Grüner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Paepke having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Grüner to make the kick off. Leandros Beckhaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Leandros Beckhaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stephan Kruppke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kickers Armsen's Mark Grüner got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leandros Beckhaus came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Kickers Armsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandros Beckhaus couldn't finish the play. Drehenthalerhof's Torsten Paepke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Grüner in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Drehenthalerhof's Bobby Bachmann got a free kick in the 81st minute. Torsten Paepke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandros Beckhaus in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Drehenthalerhof getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bobby Bachmann hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Mark Grüner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kickers Armsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Grüner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes in the game, Leandros Beckhaus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Torsten Paepke having to interfere. Jörgen Hutter's late challenge caught a Kickers Armsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörgen Hutter helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Drehenthalerhof's Jörgen Hutter got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Leandros Beckhaus came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kickers Armsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandros Beckhaus couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
