Luka Warth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lemmy Brandner in the 8th minute of the match. When Nußbaum FSV's Alexander Vöhringer in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25thth minute of the game Alexander Vöhringer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otze's Larry Schira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Alexander Vöhringer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nußbaum FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otze the free kick. In the 30th minute Alexander Vöhringer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larry Schira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larry Schira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Vöhringer in the 39th minute of play. Hernan Kahle's late challenge caught a Nußbaum FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Kahle helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Nußbaum FSV a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Ammermann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Otze's Larry Schira. 0-2. After 45 minutes, Lemmy Brandner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otze and the Nußbaum FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Otze getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lemmy Brandner hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julius Hackner made a kick off. Julius Hackners short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Larry Schira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Otze's Larry Schira got control of the ball when Alexander Vöhringer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes Otze got a freekick which was hit by Joschi Rögele. During the 64th minute of the match Hansjörg Blockmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hansjörg Blockmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Otze's Hansjörg Blockmann got a free kick in the 65th minute. Luka Warth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ebbo Heite, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Julius Hackner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Larry Schira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julius Hackner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Larry Schira having to make a save. 75 minutes into the game, Axel Mintzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nußbaum FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otze the free kick. After 77 played minutes Nußbaum FSV got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Philipp. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Ebbo Heite put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luka Warth. After 82 minutes of play, Nußbaum FSV's Alexander Vöhringer made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Larry Schira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Julius Hackner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larry Schira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Hackner, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Nußbaum FSV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
