An unexpectedly hard shot by Drago Kaupa in the 86th minute of play forced SC Tannenhausen's goalkeeper Paavo Hilljegerdes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Hummel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veit Hübsch in the 88th minute of play. If Veit Hübsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Tannenhausen's Veit Hübsch got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Johannes Sprenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Tannenhausen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
