Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manfred Hertz took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ede Gniech in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Lengerich 23's goalkeeper Wolfram Zellier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyweiler FC's Tibor Gielchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Hölderlin in the 4th minute of play. Wolfgang Hölderlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastian Jelden in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibor Gielchen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Ede Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfram Zellier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, FC Lengerich 23's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Gniech came free, but Wolfram Zellier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match, Leon Oppermann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wolfram Zellier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leon Oppermann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Wolfram Zellier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee ignored FC Lengerich 23's protests and gave Bastian Jelden a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Lengerich 23 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bastian Jelden hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Leon Oppermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seyweiler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, FC Lengerich 23's goalkeeper Wolfram Zellier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Oppermann. When Stephan Zippel fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seyweiler FC's protests and gave Stephan Zippel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seyweiler FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Frank Engelmeier hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, FC Lengerich 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartmut Rick to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes in the game Frank Engelmeier after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Wolfram Zellier. A very good opportunity. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ede Gniech made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Frank Engelmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seyweiler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Engelmeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wolfram Zellier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55thth minute of the game Leon Oppermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lengerich 23's Wolfram Zellier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Wolfgang Hölderlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lengerich 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolfgang Hölderlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolfram Zellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Oppermann in the 63rd minute of the match. If Ede Gniech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ede Gniech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Wolfram Zellier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolfram Zellier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ede Gniech in the 74th minute of play. Leon Oppermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfram Zellier having to interfere. Wolfram Zellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Oppermann in the 81st minute of the match. Wolfgang Hölderlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tibor Gielchen having to make a save. Wolfram Zellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Oppermann in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ede Gniech managed to get in a good position for a shot.
