In the 3rd minute Kornel Labouvie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Neher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derk Rauschendorfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luigi Buchele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik Neher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igli Schiewerling went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Kimmich FC's Tim Konermann got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Anatol Hidien shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederik Neher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erwin Rainer might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luigi Buchele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwin Rainer ran back to his position shaking his head. Tim Konermann kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Igli Schiewerling struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Frederik Neher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruschkamp. In the 25th minute, Kornel Labouvie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Kimmich FC's Derk Rauschendorfer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ruschkamp! The referee gave Kimmich FC a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferdl Hopp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ruschkamp's Luigi Buchele. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igli Schiewerling in the 40th minute of play forced Kimmich FC's goalkeeper Frederik Neher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Rainer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luigi Buchele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Igli Schiewerling made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Kornel Labouvie made a precise shot to the right of Frederik Neher. Kimmich FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Tim Konermann's late challenge caught a Ruschkamp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Konermann helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Konermann kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ruschkamp's zone, Erwin Rainer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luigi Buchele came out of the goal and Erwin Rainer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederik Neher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igli Schiewerling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 72 minute of play. In the 76th minute Igli Schiewerling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Neher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igli Schiewerling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Neher having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Tim Konermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kimmich FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Konermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Derk Rauschendorfer took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luigi Buchele. Luigi Buchele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.
