Kimmich FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frederik Neher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ansgar Hajduk went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Derk Rauschendorfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hellmut Beckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Klement Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Frohwein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Frohwein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederik Neher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignaz Arenz in the 31st minute of play forced Kimmich FC's goalkeeper Frederik Neher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Ignaz Arenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frederik Neher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Frohwein in the 46th minute of the match. Ignaz Arenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derk Rauschendorfer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Erwin Rainer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kimmich FC's Frederik Neher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kimmich FC from getting a goal against them. Hellmut Beckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derk Rauschendorfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederik Neher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignaz Arenz in the 72nd minute of the match. Störmthal Red Sox's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
