In the 5th minute, Luca Otto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willy Schwalm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Durs Tritz. Güstelitz FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Philipp Ferschl struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Durs Tritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kreiensieksheide FSV. A collision led to Güstelitz FSV getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ned Maier hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Güstelitz FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Ferschl came free, but Durs Tritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 15 in the game by Philo Talke from a close distance when the talented Albrecht Wegner managed to make a qualified save. Kreiensieksheide FSV's players were relieved. If Philo Talke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kreiensieksheide FSV's Fidel Anklam got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Kreiensieksheide FSV's Albrecht Wegner got control of the ball when Philo Talke tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Güstelitz FSV's Tillmann Münst in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kreiensieksheide FSV's goalie prevented a goal. Brad Erler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durs Tritz having to interfere. Durs Tritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Ferschl in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Güstelitz FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pit Fandrei to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brad Erler was the one to do the kick off. Larry Altmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Kreiensieksheide FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Lank to maneuver through the defense. Ingbert Hagedorn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Durs Tritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philipp Ferschl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Spanl during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Spanl hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tillmann Münst in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albrecht Wegner saved Kreiensieksheide FSV from getting behind. When Patrick-Marc Kienzle fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kreiensieksheide FSV's protests and gave Patrick-Marc Kienzle a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Güstelitz FSV booed when Kreiensieksheide FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick-Marc Kienzle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Tillmann Münst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albrecht Wegner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kreiensieksheide FSV getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Christian Lank hit a great ball. Patrick-Marc Kienzle kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Kreiensieksheide FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Garefrekes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tillmann Münst in the 94th minute of play forced Kreiensieksheide FSV's goalkeeper Albrecht Wegner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Güstelitz FSV booed when Kreiensieksheide FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmo Strasdeit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Tillmann Münst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güstelitz FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tillmann Münst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Güstelitz FSV had won after a very even match.
